How does sentence search actually work?

The search box replaces the filter menus: write "furnished 2+1 near a university in Kyrenia, under £800" and the system extracts the city, the budget, the room count and the features from the sentence. Queries can be written in Turkish, English, Russian, German or Arabic, and typos don't break the result. The same search runs free on the web, with no account needed.

We track prices district by district

What counts as "a normal price" in a given district? The price index answers with data: 240 districts are tracked, and where enough listing data has built up, a median price per square metre computed from real listings is published with its source date.

Outliers are removed with an IQR filter, and when a sample is too small we publish no number — a figure appears only when the data supports it. The methodology is public, so you can trace how each number is produced.

What do we check before publication?

Publishing on Evlek happens in stages: profile and phone, a publishing-authority record, document approval for offices and, at the end, a review by the Evlek team. Below we spell out what each stage checks and what it does not guarantee.

Listing search, favourites, saved searches and the comparison tools are free on the web. Professional publishing is subscription-based; current scope and Sterling prices are published on the pricing page. Until web-payment verification is complete, the pricing page does not start a payment.

What currency are listings shown in?

The base currency is the British Pound (GBP, £). TRY, USD and EUR equivalents are updated daily using European Central Bank reference rates.

How are listings reviewed before publication?
